6 Months

Tuesday marked 6 months in my pregnancy and BOY do I feel it. Baby girl is moving around quite a bit and makes herself know if she is unhappy about something mama does. We are planning on painting and setting the room up over Christmas break (read ANDY here). Sophie is very excited about her baby sister and likes to read to her and is planning matching outfits they can wear (hee hee- I love girls!). She is also very adamant that Daddy and Papa will be changing all of the poopy diapers and not her and mom.

20 Weeks

Yesterday marked the 20th week of this pregnancy. The baby is moving a lot and seems to flip back and forth daily. Friday we are going to the ultrasound and will hopefully find out if we'll be painting the nursery blue or pink!

OBAMANOS!

Dana, Rachael, Roger and I went to the Obama Rally last night at the University of New Mexico. It was fun and Obama ROCKS! We were a million miles away, but if you stood on your toes you could see him.

We drove Sophie down the street to the empty lot to watch the balloons land. The wind was perfect and directed all of the balloons Bernalillo way.

Belle and Sophie

Sophie got a new kitten two weeks ago. We discussed getting a new kitten after Max died, but decided to wait for awhile. We were outside Target and a young boy with a box and a kitten was waiting outside. While Soph was petting the kitten he told us he originally had four kittens but no one wanted this one. Needless to say, Belle now has a home and the love of a very happy little girl. Sophie carries her around, pushed her in her car and in the baby carriage. A match made in kitten heaven!

Summer on the Rio Grande

This summer has been mild. Mid 80's and rain! Finally the El Nino has smiled upon the desert southwest.

Swim Lessons

Sophie is taking 2 weeks worth of swim lessons. She is quite the little fish. After only a few days she is trying to swim underwater and can go a few feet before coming up for air!

Summer Break!

Summer Break Finally!
Maybe now I will have time to keep our blog up and going. So much has happened in the last month and I feel as though today was the first day that I actually had nothing to do (or nothing I wanted to do). Some of the big events of the past month include:

1. 1. Sophie turned 4
2. 2. Our fish died and now we have 2 in 2 different bowls! ugh!
3. 3. Sophie broke her arm
4. 4. SUMMER BREAK!!!!
